On the Title

Roi-Et a.k.a. "101" is a city in the northeast of Thailand. I spent more than "One Night in Bangkok," and was on my way to Roi-Et. It wasn't my final destination in Thailand, but the place where I grew the most. I gained a tolerance for spicy food, and learned a little dialect called Essan-- a mixture of Laos and Thai. I learned that it's not the destination but the journey that matters. Just as random as my adventures were in Thailand, so is my life--it's like living in L.A. (oh by the way L.A. is another nickname for Roi-Et).

Let's Get This!

November 15 was the greatest night of my life. My life is complete, and I can die a happy woman! I've been waiting to see New Kids on the Block since I was eight years old, and it's been almost 20 years. The concert was so awesome!

I went with my Korean roommate Wendy, my Kiwi Krystie, and my friend Anela. We were pretty close, and there was a part where they went to a revolving stage in the middle of the crowd, and we were so close. They were literally 10 feet away. New Kids are such nice guys, and they are really great with their fans. It's awesome! It was so amazing. I will never forget it. They opened with "Single," and closed with "Summertime," and did two encores "Step by Step" and "Hangin' Tough." I wished it never ended, but I did need to come home, sleep, and wake up for church.

Natasha Bedingfield opened, and she was really good! Both performers (Natasha and NKOTB) interacted with the crowd, and got us all involved. It was great! I missed Lady Gaga, but I wasn't really upset about that because I don't really know any of her stuff, and she kinda freaked me out on "So You Think You Can Dance." Anyways, I highly recommend New Kids concerts to everyone. They are really great performers, and they care about their fans, and it's just all around good fun.

I obviously had to buy souvenirs, so I bought a New Kids shirt, and a program. I am so giddy, I was giddy all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and I will continue to be giddy for a long time after this! I'm gonna have good dreams for awhile!

"Let's get this!"

In the first photo Donnie is holding a shirt that a fan threw at him that says "I [heart] Mormon Girls!"
The second photo is of me with the girls!
